Oxford City's Dominic Swords finished second for Great Britain in the Veterans' International match at Le Touquet, France on Sunday.
In searing heat, Swords crossed the line in second place in 2mins 2.36secs for the 800m.
Meanwhile, Radley's Lyn Ahmet was third in the A string triple jump, leaping to 8.44m.
She also finished third in the B string long jump, leaping to 4.16m.
To complete a busy day's competition, Ahmet then formed part of Britain's relay team, helping them to second in the 4x100m and third in the 4x400m relays.
