Witney Roadrunner Tony Lock was in excellent form at the Thame 10K, as he swept to victory in the Vet 40 category on Sunday.
Lock was the first Oxfordshire runner across the line, finishing third overall in 34mins 55secs to land the Vet 40 title.
His clubmate Mike Baillie was also in form, finishing tenth in 36.20, while there was a personal best over this distance for Jean-Marc Briens, who clocked 38.10 as he crossed the line in 24th place.
The open race was won by Chiltern Harriers' Derek Brown, who held off a strong challenge from Nigel Marley (Team Evolve) in a tight finish.
Paul Fernandez (Abingdon Amblers) clocked 35.49 for fourth place.
In the ladies' race, Alchester's Jenny McBain retained the title she won last year, finishing 31st overall in 38.29.
Sally Pitts was first in the Vet 45 category, finishing in 42.19, while Abingdon's Lizzie Gottwald was eighth in the senior women's race.
Headington won the ladies' team event, after the welcome return of Tracy Galbraith from injury.
Richard Beaumont was first home for Woodstock Harriers, finishing seventh in 36.04.
Elsewhere, there was further success for Bryan Vaughan, who won the Vet 50 category, finishing ninth overall in 36.13.
