A punishing century from Craig Haupt gave Banbury a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Tring Park at White Post Road on Saturday.
The powerful left-hander blasted an unbeaten 126 off just 108 balls, including a six and 21 fours to see his side past a target of 206 with something to spare.
Put in to bat, Tring got off to a promising start as Matt Bowyer and Adam Pusey put on 119 for the second wicket.
But from 149-2, the visitors succumbed to left-armer Luke Ryan and off-spinner Jimmy Phillips.
Ryan finished with 5-62 and Phillips 4-79 as the last seven wickets fell for just 28 runs.
Banbury lost Benji Hector, Ian Tew and Danny Harding for 84 before tea, but then it became the Craig Haupt show as he blitzed the bowling.
Ian Hawtin kept him company at the other end with an unbeaten 33 as Banbury cruised home in 51.1 overs.
OXFORD remain bottom of the table after drawing at home to West Herts.
Batting first, the visitors piled up 293-8 in 60 overs as Neal Parlane reached exactly 100.
Oxford were never in the hunt for victory but rarely looked likely to lose as Joe Porter (69) guided them to 217-7.
They picked up nine points and are just three points behind Reading in the table.
