In-form Thame remain hot on the heels of Division 2 West leaders Farnham Royal after a convincing victory at home to Gerrards Cross on Saturday.

Spinner Haresh Dahabi, their overseas professional, took 5-68 as Gerrards limped to 167-9 from their 60 overs.

Thame found runs much easier to come by as Rob Brooks hit a top score of 69 in their 170-4, the winning runs coming in the 43rd over.

Kidlington are also on a roll after a handsome six-wicket triumph at Basingstoke and North Hants.

Paceman Tauqeer Hussain was their bowling star with 5-68 as the home side were dismissed for 210 in the 60th over.

Kidlington reached their target thanks to a hard-hit 64 from Kiwi Andy Buckingham, who steered them to victory in 48.5 overs.

The win moves them up to fourth in the table.
