LITTLE did Michael Peterson think when attending Oxford Stadium for the first time at the tender age of six that he would follow in his parents' footsteps.
Mum and dad John and Glenda Peterson were both trainers at the time, and it obviously rubbed off on Michael.
In his short career, the 22-year-old has reached the Peterborough Cesarewitch final with Gone Walking, but two of his favourite hounds were Future King and Gregagh King.
The latter still holds the 1,100 metre track record at Romford.
Assisted by his partner, Sabrina Allen, Peterson began his professional career at Milton Keynes before moving to Oxford this year.
Although his kennels house more than 70 hounds, only 25 are currently on the racing strength at Cowley.
