Oxford Stadium are organising a 'Family Fun Day' at the track on Sunday, July 30.
It will be staged alongside the normal Sunday BAGS meeting, but will include a fun fair, side stalls and a stand representing the Army.
There will be lots of activities for children, while a raffle will be in operation to raise funds for different charities.
The fun starts at 1pm and goes through to 7pm. There will be full bar-buffet and tote facilities available.
Oxford will be staging open races featuring the Half-Grand series over 250, 450 and 595 metres every Tuesday through July and August, with £2,000 up for grabs among the eight victors.
Also featuring in August will be the £3,000 RD Racing Oxfordshire Gold Cup.
The heats are on Tuesday the 15th, semi-finals Saturday, August 19, with the final the following Saturday, August 26.
A compliment for Oxford is that Sky Sports TV celebrity Jonathan Hobbs, of the Racing Post, says Oxford is one of the favoured tracks among the presenters and crew.
