Batsmen Adam Cook and Joe Porter return as basement boys Oxford seek to break their Home Counties Premier League Division 1 duck when they take on West Herts at Roman Way tomorrow.
They are joined in the side by seamer David Slade, who played a leading role in last Sunday's Cockspur Cup win over High Wycombe.
The trio replace Todd Hutchinson and Nathan Absalom, who drop down to the 2nd XI, and Graham Charles- worth, who is away with the Oxford UCCE team at Loughborough.
Skipper Pat Jobson said: "One win would get us back into the middle of the table. We are actually playing quite well.
"It was quite frustrating last week. We played all the cricket, but just didn't get over the line."
Banbury will also be looking to post their first win of the season as they name an unchanged side for their home game with Tring Park.
Seamer Paul Robbins, who pulled a back muscle in the warm-up before last week's drawn game against High Wycombe, faces several weeks on the sidelines, so former England bowler Paul Taylor retains his place.
Skipper Benji Hector believes his side are close to cracking it.
"We do look as if we are improving, and we are only a couple of wins from being in the thick of it," he said.
Henley, who stayed top despite losing to Slough last week, will be looking to bounce back when they take on Finchampstead at the Brakspear.
