Chris Tarrant will bring a Lord's Taverners team to play an Abingdon School old boys XI next month.
The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter's side will take on the Abingdon Alligators in a charity fundraiser at the school on Friday, July 7 (2pm).
Also turning out for the Taverners will be former England skipper Mike Gatting.
Other past or present professionals in the visitors' team include former England seamer Neal Radford, Warwickshire batsman Mike Powell and Warwickshire opening bowler Adam Shantry.
Celebrities joining Tarrant in the Taverners side include former actor Frazer Hines, who played Joe Sugden in Emmerdale, and fundraiser Lloyd Scott, who has run the London Marathon in deep-sea diving gear and a suit of armour.
The team will be captained by England's top rugby union referee, Chris White.
The 35-overs-a-side contest is part of Abingdon School's 750th anniversary celebrations. It will take place on the school's War Memorial Field, on Faringdon Road.
Entry is £7 for adults, £3 for OAPS and children and £15 for a family ticket.
Some hospitality tickets are available for the public to join the players for a drinks reception, lunch and tea.
The tickets cost £100 per person or £1,000 for a table of ten.
