Oxford skipper Pat Jobson is refusing to press the panic button, despite seeing his side propping up the Division 1 table.
Jobson is calling on his team to build on last week's promising performance in their defeat against Slough when they travel to Finchampsted tomorrow.
However, they will have to do it without Oxfordshire duo Adam Cook and Joe Porter, who are both unavailable.
Jobson said: "Although we are propping up the table, we just need a win to turn it all round.
"I don't think we played well in our first two league games, but we did well last week. I thought we batted really well.
"I'm not too concerned with where we are, because the league is such that the 25 points you get puts you back into the middle of the table.
"So a couple of wins and we'll be right up there.
"The beauty of this league is that everyone is capable of beating everyone else, so you know that you will get a good game whoever you are playing."
Banbury are without opening batsman Chris Smith as they continue their search for their first win at high-riding High Wycombe.
Danny Harding takes his place.
Captain Benji Hector says they are looking to knock the Buckinghamshire outfit off their pedastal, and close the gap on leaders Henley.
"Although we haven't been beaten this season, we haven't yet played to our full potential," said Hector.
"There is definitely more to come.
"We need a change of luck so we can get a good win and restore a bit more confidence.
"We've got to make our own luck. But we need to turn that wheel, rather than wait for someone else to do it."
Henley make one change to their line-up when they travel to Slough.
Barney Hogg comes in for unavailable off-spinner James Yandell.
Adam Krol, skipper of Division 2 West leaders Thame Town, is expecting Kidlington to provide a tough test when they meet at Stratfield Brake.
He said: "They won last week, so their tails will be up. We are really looking forward to this game and to try and keep the run going.
"It is nice to be top, but it doesn't mean a lot at this time of the year."
Kidlington skipper Mark Strong commented: "Thame will be a big game for us because they are flying.
"It should be a really good game and it is why we are in the Home Counties. This is what it is all about."
Batsman Alan Crawford is unavailable for Thame due to work commitments, and all-rounder Ollie Heath comes into the side.
Teenage off spinner Dickon Morris is unavailable for Kidlington, and his place goes to the experienced John Kitson.
Paceman Tauqeer Hussain is expected to be fit to bowl after recovering from a swollen ankle.
He played as just a batsman as Kidlington posted their first Home Counties win with victory against North Maidenhead last week.
Basement boys Bicester & North Oxford will be without skipper Ian Bryan (holiday), Lee Mason (unavailable) and Ben Chapman (work) when they host Basingstoke at Chesterton.
Darryl Woods leads the side, while Sam Lyon is recalled after an unbeaten 93 for the seconds.
Stephen Lewis also steps up, while Adam Wade who was unavailable for the Thame game, returns.
Bicester have yet to win this season.
