Champion trainer Michael Peterson is hoping to bring home the bacon as he sets off for Denmark on April 12 in a bid to land the Odense Sprint worth £1,000 to the winner.
Ever ambitious, the Aylesbury handler will be tracking his own dog Fridays Mal who has impressed in the qualifiers getting within 19 spots of the track record.
Meanwhile, Peterson now has his own website, petersonracing.co.uk where punters can see advanced runners, results, trials and a picture gallery.
He is also getting into top gear in a bid to land a second trainers championship after steering home 26 winners last month – the best of anyone – to see him within nine of leader Paddy Curtin.
