Jolly Poacher was out of luck in the final of the 2010 Kudos Supersprint final at Cork.
Poacher, trained by Nick Colton, finished fourth at 5-1 behind 5-4 favourite Yes Boss, but did pick up €400 in prize money.
There will no trials on Easter Monday, but there are limited trials before racing next week. There is racing tomorrow as Oxford stage their normal BAGS meeting with free admission.
The Richard Yeates-trained Freedom Emma warmed up for the Blue Riband at Hall Green with runners-up spot in the Monmore Oaks at Wolverhampton.
There was sadness in the Paddy Curtin kennels when they lost their top brood bitch Tiny Light after she suffered a stroke.
Tiny whelped two litters, and Curtin believes the older oner, now showing great promise, will keep Tiny’s name in the limelight.
