Nikki Slater smashed Jude Craft's long-standing course record to win the second round of the Mota-vation Series at Bletchingdon.
The Witney Roadrunner star was in unstoppable form as she eclipsed Craft's record by almost half a minute in ideal conditions at the same time securing the highest overall finishing position ever by a lady as she crossed the line in 12th place.
Leading from start to finish, Slater showed tremendous stamina around the hilly course as she clocked an impressive 23mins 18secs beating Headington's Craft, plus several senior men into the bargain.
She superbly spearheaded Witney Roadrunners to team gold, as they finished 12 points clear of title rivals Headington Roadrunners.
At the head of the men's race, Steve Kimber took an early lead and cruised to his second successive victory ahead of Nathan Holmes and Gary Harris who now share second place in the standings.
Also enjoying pride of place was Abingdon Amblers' 16-year-old star Stephen Copley, who finished ninth the highest ever position for an under 17 runner.
Elsewhere, Brian Green (vet 40), Nicola Gomm (lady vet 35) and Kate Williamson (lady vet 55) tightened their series' leads with second straight victories.
Woodstock's Bryan Vaughan won the vet 50 division to take the lead over John Exley.
Oxford City's in-form Dickie Langton beat Mike Shipway for the first time to move joint top with Shipway in the vet 60 standings.
In the ladies' vet 45 category, Sally Pitts avenged her first-round defeat by Jackie Leake as she came home first.
The popularity of the Mota-vation series was shown by the record 292 finishers.
The next race is at Combe on July 6 (7.30).
