New Club wrapped up the Division 1 crown, beating rivals Ashton 2-1 in the final match of the season.
Pete Fenn (+50) put Ashton in front when he made a 24 break in his 200-143 victory over Alan King.
However, Alan Mander (+60) was in superb form, making breaks of 24 and 27 to level the match with a 200-73 victory over Terry Chambers (scratch).
Paul Moss (+100) completed victory with a crushing 150-16 success against John Street (+50), making breaks of 21, 22 and 28 to seal the title for New Club.
Riley A’s title hopes evaporated as they went down 2-1 at Cowley Conservative Club B.
Ross Mabbutt gave Cowley the lead with a 150-117 win against Allan Copelin.
Brian Mabbutt (+20) crushed Malcolm Bough (+20) 200-91 to make it 2-0, but Gary Bough (+70) prevented the whitewash, defeating Ken Olive (+70) 150-131.
l RILEY B landed the Hashman Shield as they beat Ashton 2-0 in the final at Cowley Conservative Club.
The pace was set by Keith Maskens (+40) who beat Pete Fenn (+40) 150-105.
Captain Roger Tomlin (+40) then thrashed John Street (+40) 150-75 to give Riley an unassailable lead.
