Oxford Sports' first pair of Jim Baker and Gabriel Paolini were in devastating form in Men's Division 1 of the Wilson OLTA Inter-Club 3-Pair League.
The duo won all three rubbers to lead their side to a narrow 5-4 victory over Oxford City, dropping just seven games in the process.
Goring were too strong for Abingdon, winning 6-2 with their first pair of Jonathan Howey and Richard Pool also unbeaten.
David Williams and Angus Jones dropped just one set at second pair as the home side ran out comfortable winners.
In the 2-Pair League, Wantage ran out 2-1 winners over Goring in Men's Division 1.
Paul Homersham and Dave Saunders won one-and-a-half rubbers to steer their side home.
In Division 3, Thame A's top pair of Richard Bradley and Marc Ashworth dropped just six games as they led their team to a 2-1 win over Southfield.
Southfield's Mark Sheldon and Terry Eccles collected their side's only win.
