Oxford Cavaliers get a second chance to open their TRL Conference West Midlands Division season at home to Redditch Ravens tomorrow (2.30).
The rugby league club were due to face Coventry Bears last week, but saw the game postponed due to problems with the Midlanders' pitch.
Cavs will be without Australian hooker Guy Elliott, but are otherwise at full-strength for the clash at Oxford Harlequins' Marston Ferry Road ground.
Three-quarter Marc Leat said: "Redditch's record so far is good, but they will be aware that taking on Oxford is a very different matter.
"There has been a lot of talk this year in rugby league circles about the emergence of a quality team here. When I look round at my teammates, they are all strong with the ball in hand, with a formidable pack."
