Autotype UTV League: Joey King netted a double as Horseshoe claimed their first piece of silverware after strolling to a 3-0 victory against Sandman in the Alan Alder Memorial Trophy.

King bundled home the opener from Steve Holder's cross. After Pete Arbuthnott and Adam Reynolds went close for Sandman, King bagged his second on 28 minutes. And it was all over for Sandman when Ed Gilkes fired home No 3.

Division 2 champions Standlake Garage wrapped up their campaign with a 4-4 draw against Rutherford Lab.

Chris Bennell notched a double, with Ian Lewis and Dan Harwood also on target.

The result saw Rutherford, whose tally was made up by strikes from John Hawkins, Devon Bryan, Kevin Edwards and a Pete Claridge own goal, avoid the drop.

In midweek, Childrey OHB beat Wheatsheaf Didcot 6-3, in which Joe Harvey scored a double. Alan Haines, Neil Smith, Sean Webb and Steve Doman completed the rout. Nick Guiry, Gareth Fenton and John Willis were on target for Didcot.

Cross Keys look to have missed out on the runners-up spot, despite hammering Steventon Sunday 8-1.

Mike Weir hit a double with Simon Ward, Gary Harris, Ross Tabor, Gareth Cooper, Mike Van De Mortel and Paul Druce also finding the net. Kevin Kogel drove in Steventon's reply from the halfway line.

Wheatsheaf Didcot handed a 7-2 midweek thrashing to Rutherford Lab, Jamie Munroe, Guiry and Fenton, all hitting doubles. Jake Chaffey hit the other Didcot goal, Ian Bowler and Barry Deans replied.

Ian Marshall smashed a five-timer as Dorchester United beat Brightwell 5-1. Mickey Allen replied for relegated Brightwell.

Marshall was on target again as Dorchester beat Long Wittenham 4-1. Gary Nesbitt, Morten Hansen and Skip Saunders also netted, Dave Jones scoring for Wittenham.

Champions Ardington & Lockinge crashed 4-2 at JET.

Nick Simmonds, Nigel King, John Wright and Jordan Scott were the marksmen for JET, with Jake Magnam and Johnny James replying.

In midweek, Ardington lost 2-0 against White Horse Abingdon. Adam Oram scored both goals to take his tally to 22 in only nine matches.

White Horse keeper Barry McBeth saved a Tom Rowe penalty.

Goodlake Arms finished runners-up with the 5-2 defeat of Supersonic Sunday, thanks to goals from Tom Srawley (2), Phil Rowles, Ant Culver and Ian Gray.

Ian Concannon and Gareth Bertram netted for Supersonic.
