THREE Lord Williams's School pupils have won through to the regional final of the British Heart Foundation Junior Championship.
Thomas Stibbs, 17, Matthew Foster, 17, and Matthew Stibbs, 15 finished first in the qualifier at Waterstock on countback after carding 80 stableford points.
They will now represent the Thame school at Bidford Grange on June 27.
Just behind them in second place at Waterstock were Alex Williams, 16, Mark Bell, 16, and Jon Gotch, 15, from Cheney School in Headington, Oxford.
The event raised £2,122 to help the BHF fight heart disease.
Claire Simmons, regional director for the BHF, said: "Congratulations to the team from Thame and good luck to all those who have made it through to the regional final.
"Every team taking part in the championship raises essential funds for the BHF's life-saving work, so a big thank you must go to all the youngsters involved."
