OXFORD Cavaliers were crowned unofficial county rugby league champions after beating hosts Gosford All Blacks 64-14 to lift the Advanced Gardening Services Cup.

Four tries from Adam White helped them on their way, while debutant Greg Cushing bagged a hat-trick.

Gosford led 14-4 with speedster Tommy Newell scoring two tries, but Cavs edged ahead by the break and cruised home.

Cavs coach Matt Walsh said: "Gosford gave us a stern test and were devastating in the first quarter.

"There is plenty of talent in their team and it is clear to see why they have been so successful this season."
