THE British & Irish Lions may have been thrashed in New Zealand, but a team wearing their shirts triumphed in Littlemore's 30th anniversary ten-a-side tournament.

Henley Street Invitationals, captained by Oxford University lock Richard Graham, defeated the President's Team, led by Blues secretary Dan Rosen, 12-10 in the final.

This reversed the pool result between the two sides, which saw Rosen's men edge home 17-15.

The Bowl final saw a young Oxford team overcome Dick Rudman's Occasionals in a penalty shoot-out after a 12-12 draw.

Hosts Littlemore defeated a second Oxford team in the Bowl final on an entertaining day.
