Horley captain Dan Campbell is confident that his side can stay in Division 1, following last season's promotion to the top flight.
Horley romped to the Division 2 title last season, and also had a superb Airey Cup run, which saw them bow out to eventual winners Twyford in the semi-finals.
Campbell said: "It's going to be a difficult season, as we're quite a young side, but I can't see any reason to fear the opposition.
"We had a couple of great results against Division 1 sides in the Airey Cup last year, so we know what it's all about."
Horley start their season at Hook Norton tomorrow.
Hooky boast a team full of talented youngsters, who last season finished in mid-table.
Great Horwood kick off their campaign at home to Minster Lovell.
Horwood finished just outside the relegation zone last season, but captain Neil Hogston expects his team to make a better fist of it this time around.
He said: "We consider ourselves capable of a top-half finish, but a lot of key players simply didn't perform last year.
Minster, who also had a relegation battle last year, have lost influential opening bowler Chris Morgan to Cherwell League outfit Shipton- under-Wychwood.
Charlie Yates is promoted from the second team to open the batting, while Oxfordshire Under 17 batsman Nathan Harris should also be one to watch.
Reigning champions Tetsworth don't start until next weekend, when they travel to Horley, but look a good bet to retain their title.
Oxford Caribbean will look to push on after finishing runners-up last time around.
Captain Eddie Howard said: "We're a typical West Indian side really. If we all fire, we're a formidable side, but we are prone to throw it away at times."
Witney Swifts, with a new second team, will look for more strength in depth as they bid to improve on last season's third-place finish, while Twyford are a team on the up after their Airey Cup triumph of last season.
Westbury will look to return to the right end of the table after a disappointing 2005 campaign.
Captain Tom Boardman said: "We were inconsistent last season, but the standard of the division has improved a lot in recent years."
Charlbury have been boosted by a surge in membership and should fare well back in the top flight after last season's promotion.
The last time they gained promotion, they went straight back down, but have a stronger looking squad this time around.
