BICESTER turned on the style to defeat Swindon College 54-24, but it was not enough to secure promotion from the BB&O Premier Division.
Milton Keynes' 51-5 victory over Farnham Royal meant it is they and not Bicester who go up.
Bicester were ahead after two minutes when Tony Nightingale, James Barrett and Martin Linstrom combined to send scrum half Steve Risbridger darting under the posts for a try.
John Rollason then put fellow centre Wayne Varney in for a try which Barrett converted before adding a penalty.
Next Bicester prop Nick Evans sent Linstom thundering over and Barrett converted.
Swindon replied with a try from fly half Mark Williams, which centre Greg O'Brien converted.
Barrett kicked two more penalties before the break and on 51 minutes Linstrom set up a score for Nightingale.
Hooker Dan Kimber's chip kick was snaffled by John Rollason who cruised in under the posts and Risbridger converted.
Williams bagged a second try for Swindon before Bicester winger Dickie Walsh converted his own score.
Dominic Brown and Steve Offord crossed for Swindon, O'Brien converting the latter.
Right at the end Risbridger chipped ahead for Rollason to pick up his second try and Dan Spencer converted.
Littlemore picked up a shock 23-19 win at Gosford All Blacks, but could still be relegated when next season's divisions are confirmed.
Gosford were missing several key players and had to field Pete Midgeley at hooker, which caused major problems in the scrum.
Littlemore fly half Lawrence Harris slotted a penalty on 15 minutes, but wing Alex Webb hit back with his first Gosford try.
Charlie Sutton fed brother Harry for the hosts' second try, which Charlie converted.
Harris kicked another penalty and jinked through some weak tackling to score and then convert his own try.
Littlemore centre Darryll Rendle raced over on 52 minutes, before Charlie Sutton converted Nmandi Chinye's try.
Harris's second try sealed it.
