Banbury United manager Kevin Brock says his players have a chance to seal a place in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup final line-up when they travel to Northwood in tomorrow's Premier Division clash.
Brock, whose side take on Hellenic Premier Division outfit Carterton in Tuesday's final, said a number of players had forced their way into the reckoning following Easter Monday's win over local rivals Rugby.
"The players that came in did very well and put themselves in there (for the cup final)."
Brock said a win is also important against Northwood for another reason.
He said: "They are the only side that can do the double over us this season and we don't want them to do that. They are fighting to stay up, so it will be a hard game.
"I will have my best side out on Saturday and the best one on Tuesday. We're just treating it as a normal game."
Banbury will be without Wayne Blossom (unavailable) while Matty Gooderick is doubtful with a hamstring pull. Stuart Bridges returns.
Brock must decide who plays in goal Simon Tricker or Alan Foster. Tricker recently reclaimed his place from Foster.
Brock added: "The trouble with being a keeper is there is only one place. But both their attitudes have been spot-on."
Banbury Utd: from Tricker, Foster, Robinson, Kinch, Redknap, Saulsbury, Fuller, Stanbridge, Lamb, Sullivan, Baird, Pond, Lazarus, Bridges, Gooderick.
