Radley club captain Claire Triggs made a stunning start to the season by setting a personal best in winning the 400m at the Alpha Beta Trophy meeting at Haringey in London.
Triggs stormed to victory in 57.11secs to provide Radley's only victory in the club's traditional curtain-raiser.
Also in the senior section, Kay Reynolds rolled back the years to set a personal best in the javelin, throwing 26.88m.
The senior team finished equal fourth on 127 points, with the under 15s ending up in fifth place on 107 points.
In the junior competition, Charlotte Barham started off her season in good form, earning personal bests in the long jump (4.71m) and javelin (21.67).
Further personal bests came from Alyce McNaughton, who clocked 2.54.96 in the under 15 girls' 800m and Rebecca Sunderland, who threw 11.60m in the javelin.

Under 15 girls: 1 Blackheath & Bromley 167pts, 2 Herts Phoenix 146, 3 Enfield & Haringey 124, 4 Dacorum & Tring 116, 5 Radley 107, 6 Stevenage 100, 7 Havering & Mayesbrook 89, 8 Milton Keynes 45.
