CHIPPING Norton pro Neil Rowlands (right) had to be content with second place in the PGA Europro Tour Final Qualifying School at Frilford Heath.
Rowlands led by two shots going into the final round, but carded a 76 to finish one behind David Porter on six-under-par.
However, his strong performance last week won him £1,440 and guarantees him entry into all 2006 Europro Tour events.
Also making the cut at Frilford and getting the same exemption were The Oxfordshire's Daniel Wood and Hadden Hill's Pete Mitchell, while The Springs' Barry Mann missed out by one shot.
