The William Hill Pall Mall enters the semi-final stage at Oxford tonight and the £8,000-to-the-winner contest looks wide open.
The sponsors make the Brian Clemenson-trained Shelbourne Poopa the 4-1 favourite, and he will have his backers after the Hove runner posted the fastest sectional time in winning his qualifier.
He goes in the second semi-final, and has most to fear from Fear Khan, who was an impressive winner on Friday.
Ernie Gaskin's Greenlough Power, mightily impressive in posting 26.85 in the qualifiers, is a 6-1 shot and should take the first semi.
Bubbly Classic (6-1) is fancied to follow him home, while Charlie Lister's Nignbo Jack will need to ping out to take care of Roswell Spaceman and Clonbrin Show in the third semi-final.
The first two in each semi go forward to next Tuesday's final.
