Thame Utd 1, Willenhall Tn A CONTROVERSIAL late equaliser robbed Thame United of only their second home win of the season against the Southern League Division 1 West rivals on Saturday.

It started so well for Thame when they went ahead after just four minutes, Darren Moore cracking home a superb volley after good work from Anthony Hamilton.

Thame dominated, with skipper Robbie Eason and Hamilton going close, while Tkeeper Paul Searl had little to do.

After the break, Willenhall gradually took control and went close to equalising on 73 minutes, but Searl kept out Paul Danks with an outstanding save.

Hamilton was close to sealing a rare win for Thame on 85 minutes, but fired wide But on 88 minutes, Willenhall equalised when Danks, looking suspiciously off-side, fired home.
