Team Bath 2, Banbury Utd 2 Banbury United were left kicking themselves after throwing away a two-goal lead in their Southern League Premier Division clash on Saturday.
They got off to a dream start when midfielder Ollie Stanbridge fired them in front with just two minutes gone, crashing home a cross from Andy Baird after good work from Neil Lazarus.
It followed a huge kick upfield from goalkeeper Alan Foster.
On 11 minutes, Banbury doubled their lead with a cracker from Baird.
He seized on a misplaced header by Peter Tisdale, before flicking the ball home over the stranded Team Bath keeper Darren Chitty.
However, Banbury suffered a blow after 32 minutes when defender Kieran Sullivan limped off with a recurring back injury.
In the 37th minute, the home side got back in the game when Sean Canham netted from a dubious free-kick.
On 74 minutes, Team Bath levelled through substitute Jake Reid after Banbury failed to deal with a free-kick.
