Langford 1, Oxford City 3 Ray Spence hammered a hat-trick as Premier Division leaders Oxford City stretched their advantage to eight points on Saturday.
City, who have played two more games than second-placed Hillingdon, started shakily when Mark Holmes fired wildly over from a good position.
They were then grateful to keeper Carl Wilkins who made two good stops.
And it wasn't until the second half that City really began to threaten, with Harry Burnley heading over when well-placed.
On 49 minutes, City went ahead when Spence collected a through ball from Justin Miller before rounding the keeper.
It got even better for City on 55 minutes when Jon Gardner, who is on-loan from Banbury United, beat the offside trap before setting up Spence who fired home his second.
Langford's Dean Warren then scraped the bar with a header, before they clawed a goal back from the penalty spot through Robert Groves for handball.
Three minutes from time, Spence completed his treble, firing home from the edge of the area.
Oxford C: Wilkins, Pilling, Bedwell, Marriott, Craker, Durrant, Burnley, Brandon, Miller (Keen 69), Spence, Gardner (Potter 73). Subs not used: Merritt, Jones.
