Striker Andy Baird is set to return for Banbury United when they travel to Premier Division rivals Team Bath.

The ex-Wycombe frontman missed last week's defeat by Salisbury to attend a wedding.

Kevin Brock's side are set to be at full strength.

Former England star Neil Webb, who has signed for Thame United, could make his debut on Wednesday.

Webb, 42, who is based in Reading, agreed to join the relegated Southern League Division 1 West side and is set to face Dunstable at home.

He signed on the dotted line after being contacted by joint-boss Richard Searl.

"I met him the other week and asked him if he would fancy playing for us," said a delighted Searl.

"At first, I thought he was joking when he said 'yes,' but he said he was serious. He's now signed the league forms.

"We have a very young side and his experience could be invaluable to the lads.

"He wants to get back into football. He's going to come along and have a look and see where he can get more involved."

Webb was given his football league debut for Reading at the age of 17 by the late Royals' and Oxford United boss Maurice Evans. Webb later made 26 appearances for England.

Meanwhile, Thame welcome back Luke Fisher after a knee injury for their home game against Willenhall.
