Leaders Highfield suffered a blow after they went down to a 3-0 defeat against Nelson.
Anaclet Odhiambo fired the second-half opener before Julian McCalmon doubled their tally.
Nelson's captain Liam O'Callaghan then sealed victory with a superb individual effort.
The result would have taken Nelson top of the table, but the league has awarded two games to Highfield for previous opponents not fulfilling fixtures.
A second-half penalty from Simon Burton secured a 1-0 victory for Star Wanderers at Six Bells Kidlington.
Burton fired home after Stuart Carr was brought down in the area.
Neil McMahon, Jay Morris and James Ford netted doubles as Rose Hill thrashed Oxford Exiles 8-0.
Craig McMahon and Mark Gregory got the others.
Barry Hayden fired a hat-trick for Berinsfield as they beat Division 2 rivals Mansfield Rd Res 4-2. Leigh Wisey was their other scorer.
Oxford Yellows enjoyed a 5-0 victory at Railway Wheatley Res.
Nick Green led the way with a treble, Neil Hanlon and Ryan Bartlett with a 25-yard-volley completing their tally.
Iffley Harriers demolished Isis Tavern 5-0.
Wayne Davies, Wayne Cox, Mike Hillington and Nathan East were among the scorers.
