Rover Blackbird had two men sent off as the Morrells of Oxford League Premier Division outfit lost 1-0 to Banbury side Dynamo Toby in a fight-marred Sam Waters Cup final at Oxford City.
Rover had the better of the early exchanges, but the only goal came midway through the first half when Dynamo's Tony Beckham fired home a spectacular free-kick into the top corner.
Despite continued pressure from Rover, they could not create any chances.
The match was marred by fighting between rival supporters which broke out in the stands six minutes from time.
Bicester-based referee Steve Godfrey took the players into the centre of the pitch while order was restored by stewards.
Late on, Carl Henry and Victor Sinclair receiving their marching orders as the players headed towards the dressing room.
