ABK Sports had to withstand a furious fightback from Wroxton Sports before sealing a 3-2 win in the Banbury District & Lord Jersey Premier Division.
It looked all over for Wroxton as a double from Joel Hart in the first seven minutes saw ABK take a 2-0 lead.
After the break, Callum Miles reduced the arrears, before Clark Miles levelled.
However, Wroxton’s hopes of a draw ended when James McMahon scored a penalty a minute from time.
In Division 3, Bell Sports eased to a 4-3 victory against Finmere.
Nathan Crowder fired them ahead, only for Steve Goodger and Chris Murphy to make it 2-1 to Finmere at the break.
In the second half, Scott Clarke lobbed the keeper to level, before Shaun Wilson restored Bell’s lead from the penalty spot.
Finmere’s Chris Murphy rifled in the equaliser, only for Clarke to smash home the winner for Bell four minutes from time.
Goals from Dan Rogers and Carl Taylor sealed a 2-0 win for Bodicote Sports away to Wroxton Sports.
