Oxford United fans have been warned not to travel to Stevenage Borough on Tuesday night if they don’t have a ticket.

United quickly sold their allocation of 1,700 tickets.

A Stevenage spokesperson said: “There’s little point in any Oxford fans that don’t have a ticket travelling as they won’t get in the away end without one and, if they do get into the home areas, they’ll be ejected from the stadium as soon as it’s apparent they support Oxford. There is a strong police and stewarding presence for this game.”

STEVENAGE have refused permission for BBC Oxford to film Tuesday night’s game, claiming it is their standard policy.
