Wallingford climbed to fourth in South West 1 East with a tense 19-14 home victory over Olney.
Olney stunned the large home crowd on five minutes when full back James Padfield ran in easily for a try converted by James Hawken.
Wallingford responded well and were rewarded when prop Darren Small was driven over from a rolling maul.
Fly half Angus Brettell forced his way over for the hosts’ second try, full back Ralph Smith converting.
On the hour mark, some fine handling saw flanker Will Woodward race away to score, Smith converting.
Olney pulled a try back through wing Mike Durose and Hawken converted.
