Banbury Bulls need just one more point to win Midlands 2 East South after defeating Old Newtonians 29-5, thanks to skipper Sean Bannister's hat-trick of tries.
Their victory, coupled with Market Harborough’s defeat to Lutterworth, means Bulls are almost there.
Bannister put Bulls ahead with two tries from catch-and-drive moves.
Hooker Liam Stratford set up wing Jed Boyle for try No 3, then Mike Smith converrted a score from centre Guy Sturla.
Bannister completed his treble after the break, Smith converting.
