With the final league positions already decided in the ODDA Ladies’ Winter League, Premier Section champions Florence Park Community Centre A went down 5-4 in a thriller against Section 1 winners Blackbird.
Home side Florence Park took an early lead when Jo Gleed beat Sue Smith, Blackbird levelling through Chris Thompson, who defeated Angie Pointin.
Claire Bywaters made it 14 wins from 14 games when she defeated Sue Simms to put Florence Park back in front.
However, the Section 1 side roared back as victories from Shaz Thompson, Lorraine Singleton and Angie Turner gave them 4-2 advantage.
Blackbird lost the pairs 2-1, but hung on for a thrilling triumph.
East Oxford Conservative Club are the Section 2 champions after a 7-2 win at Donnington Community Centre.
Teresa Bowden, Victoria Luciw, Tracy Davies, Ann Luciw and Ellen Johnson put the Conservatives 5-0 up before the home side pulled one back through Rose Swanton.
East Oxford took the pairs 2-1 to complete a stunning success.
The young side from the Chequers Inn C, Headington, clinched the Men’s Section 9 crown in only their second season after a victory over the visiting Black Swan.
Chequers took the opening game when Ryan Battle beat Kevin Baker, the Swan levelling with a fine victory from John Turnbull (180) over Robert Malpas.
Chequers then ran away with it as Brodie Edmunds, Ryan Armson and Rich Hathaway put them 4-1 clear before the visitors pulled one game back when Jerry Tuitt overcame Ross Gibson.
For the pairs, Chequers brought in Liam Chewings and Luke Ambler and they cruised home 3-0 for a7-2 win.
It gives them an unassailable three-point lead over second- placed Shelley Arms.
