Oxford City Stars open their sequence of play-off games as they take on Bracknell Hornets in a double header this weekend.
Stars host Bracknell at Oxpens Road today (5pm), before travelling to the Berkshire side tomorrow.
The two teams have shared success in the games between the two sides this season, with Oxford winning the first two games and Bracknell taking the remaining two.
Hornets, who finished third in Division 1 South of the English National League, will go into the game as favourites, and beat Oxford comfortably in the play-offs last season.
This year, however, the Stars are a much stronger outfit, with a good mixture of youth and experience and are more than capable of success.
Stars’ other play-off opponents are Invicta Dynamos on April 4 and 11.
