Chinnor will seek to bounce back from the low point of their season when they host Coney Hill in National 3 South West tomorrow.
That was how their official match report described last week’s 22-7 defeat to Exmouth, which all but ruled out a third-place finish.
Hooker Alan Cawston, lock Harry Jackman and wing Ben Farr return, the latter after recovering from a facial injury.
Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers said: “It is disappointing to lose any game of rugby, especially when we didn’t play as well as we know we can.
“Not just for me and the players, but for the whole club it was frustrating.
“When the players go out there, they do their absolute best to win, but on Saturday it didn’t happen.
“We have got to bounce back.”
Henley Hawks can have another say in the National 2 South promotion race when they host Rosslyn Park.
Hawks drew with Park’s fellow challengers Ealing recently and another such result is likely to strengthen Barking’s grip at the top.
Centre Danny Wells and scrum half James Gaunt are unavailable due to work commitments, while lock Dave Clements and wing Pete Davies are injured.
Jack Shaylor replaces Gaunt, Neil Baggett moves from wing to centre and Tom Stradwick replaces Clements.
Jack Hennings returns at blindside flanker, with Alex Dupee dropping to the bench.
Prop Kris Blaszko moves to lock as Wallingford host Olney in South West 1 East.
Anthony Marris replaces him at loose-head, while Glenn Dearlove comes in on the wing, with Ralph Smith moving to full back and Henry Venners dropping to the bench.
Southern Counties North leaders Witney can open up a two-point lead on title rivals Amersham & Chiltern when they host Aylesbury.
Prop Jamie Burke and lock Owen Fowler return, but have to be content with places on the bench alongside Jake Thomas.
