Oxford United's Blue Square Premier title hopes were dented as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Rushden & Diamonds on Wednesday night.
United fell behind to a Craig Farrell goal after 59 minutes, but Sam Deering grabbed the equaliser eight minutes later.
The point takes Oxford back up to second place above Luton on goal difference - but five points behind leaders Stevenage Borough, who have played the same number of games as the U's.
