Oxford City were denied all three points by a late penalty as they drew 3-3 at Halesowen in the Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division on Tuesday, having led 2-0 at half-time.
Lee Steele and Harry Harding were on the mark for City as they called the shots in the first half, Halesowen levelling after the break through Stefan Moore and Scott Rickards.
Elliott Sandy restored City’s lead on 80 minutes, but five minutes later, Delroy Gordon was penalised for handball and Moore netted from the spot.
Banbury United made it four league wins on the spin with a 1-0 home victory over Cambridge City.
The visitors hit the woodwork in the first half before Banbury went ahead on 50 minutes when David Stone sidefooted home a Joe Coleman cross.
Banbury had to weather some heavy Cambridge pressure, but were always looking for a second and Jason Taylor was unlucky to hit a post late on.
North Leigh completed a 17-0 Division 1 South & West Division double over whipping boys Bracknell, inflicting a 9-0 drubbing at the basement club.
Stuart Hole (pen) and Keiran Sanders gave them a 2-0 half-time lead and second-half goals came from Matty Taylor (3), Ben Reardon (2), Hole (pen) and Joe Burnell.
Abingdon United lost 4-1 at home to Hungerford, who led 2-0 at the break through two Toby Clark free-kicks.
Johnny Gardner pulled one back for United, but further goals from James Guthrie and Calum Wilmoth sealed it for Hungerford.
