Chipping Norton director of rugby Andy Dawson admitted his frustration after his relegation-threatned side were pipped 5-0 by Grove.
Chippy are two points from safety in Southern Counties North with two games in hand on Newbury Stags, whom they still have to play.
Dawson said: “I don’t know what more we have to do to win a game of rugby.
“The boys put a massive effort today and are frustrated with the fact we don’t seem to get the rub of the green at the moment.”
- CAPTAIN Ronan Wilson scored a brace of tries, including a late winner, as Witney fought back from a 10-0 half-time deficit to clinch the Oxfordshire Under 16 League Division 2 title with a 19-17 win at Banbury.
Nathan Blakey converted a penalty try as Witney rallied.
Banbury restored their ten point lead with a converted try, before Witney took control of the match.
Blakey converted Wilson’s first try, then the skipper sealed the title with his second late on.
