Former Oxford United star Joey Beauchamp scored a brace as Bletchingdon boosted their Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division title hopes with a 7-2 win at Chadlington, writes BRIAN KIRK.
John Webb and Dennell Steele also netted doubles, with Adam Wells completing the rout.
Brothers Matt and Stuart Crook replied for Chadlington.
Charlie Bough hit a hat-trick in Rover Cowley’s 6-1 hammering of Horspath.
Two goals from Bough and a Ben Green strike saw Rover stroll into a 3-0 lead, before Paul Cooper clawed one back from the penalty spot.
Bough completed his treble after the break to take his tally for the season to 25 goals, before Dean Forbes made it 5-1 when he rifled a shot into the bottom corner.
Ben Green slotted home a spot-kick to compound Horspath’s misery.
Garsington thrashed Eynsham 5-0 away from home, with goals from Aaron Armstrong, Jelroy Constant, Liam O’Callaghan, Jay Morris and Carl Bloomfield Marek Plucinski headed the winner in Enstone’s 2-1 victory at Oxford University Press.
Enstone went in front when Jack Mahoney got his head to a corner three minutes before half time.
After the break, Matty Spooner clawed one back with a low drive, before Plucinski won it for Enstone.
Freeland hammered Kidlington Old Boys 6-1 in Division 1.
Paul Salter opened their account, before Adam Reynolds headed home their second from Joe Crocker’s cross.
Simon Hole then crashed home a 25-yard shot into the top corner.
After the break, Daniel Burrows reduced the arrears with a penalty, only for Crocker to make it 4-1 from a tight angle.
Hole then headed his second and Pete Higgins made it six of the best from a Jamie Hodges through ball.
Stuart White scored a last-minute penalty winner as Middleton Cheney won 3-2 at North Oxford.
It looked all over for Middleton when Chris Hermitage and Jason Potter’s strikes saw North Oxford take a 2-0 lead.
But they levelled when Steve Maloney fired in a double, only for White to break North’s hearts.
Matt Dean hammered a hat-trick in Oakley’s 6-1 win at Garsington Res.
Joe Griffiths, Liam O’Dconell and Phil Wheeler got their others, with Jack Merrill replying.
In Division 2, Horspath Res drew 2-2 with Long Crendon. Chris Williams and Craig Day netted for Horspath.
Paul Norton bagged a brace in Marston Saints Res’s 3-2 win at Broughton & North Newington Res.
James Studds was their other marksman, with Andy Cullen and Matt Worthington the scorers for Broughton.
Gary Crook’s double gave Adderbury Park a 2-0 win at Marston Saints in the Ben Turner Cup semi-final.
Adam Holland’s hat-trick helped Fritwell Res to a 4-1 win after extra time over Oakley Res in the Ivor Gubbins Cup semi-final.
Liam Clark also netted for Fritwell, with Dean Boyles the Oakley marksman.
Now Fritwell will play Eynsham Res in the final after they won 2-0 at Enstone Res, with strikes from Dave Harris and Andy Glossop.
Bardwell Res thrashed Watlington 5-1 in their Division 3 Supplementary Cup Group B clash, with Dan Dyer (2), Jason Bedford (2) and Adam Dawe netting.
Paul Griffiths replied for Watlington.
