Gosford All Blacks lost 48-5 at BB&O Premier Division leaders Broadmoor Staff, despite a battling display.

Tries from tight-head prop Dan Harvey, flanker Greg Redpath and full back Ben Yates, plus two Shaun Franklin conversions, put Broadmoor 19-0 up.

Harry Sutton, Ben Bodinham and Elliott Newell went close for Gosford, but Harvey forced his way over for their second.

After the break, Yates added his second, Franklin converting, before Newell ran in Gosford’s only try.

Yates completed his hat-trick and lock Dom Kleiren went over for Broadmoor’s final try.

Lock James Stepney and hooker Brian Strong were then unlucky not to add to Gosford’s tally.

Elsewhere, Harwell lost 53-20 at home to Swindon College Old Boys, while Alchester were beaten 10-8 by Stow-on-the-Wold.

  • BANBURY Bulls saw their lead at the top of Midlands 2 East South cut to four points.

Bulls did not play, but rivals Market Harborough, who still have one game in hand, beat Huntingdon & District 24-10.

  • BICESTER’S run in the National Colts Plate ended with a 28-18 defeat at Dings Crusaders on Sunday.

Dom Southey and Chris Clayton scored Bicester’s tries, with Tom Cook converting one and kicking two penalties.

Bicester had prop Dave Behan sin-binned.
