Two tries apiece from captain Ian Jeffreys and wing Ralph Smith helped Wallingford to a 46-0 victory at basement boys Wootton Bassett.
Wallingford scored eight ries in total, despite the very muddy pitch and greasy ball not helping running rugby.
Smith was tackled just short, Kris Blaszko wasted a two-man overlap and fellow prop Ed Jenkins was held up over the line before the visitors finally took the lead.
No 8 Jeffreys forced his way over after a strong scrum.
Try No 2 followed from the restart, with flanker Mike Chapman breaking several tackles and off-loading to Jeffreys, who fed scrum half Derek Viljoen to race in.
Wing Richard Turner set up flanker Will Woodward for Wallingford’s third try, Blaszko converting.
Wallingford dominated the first ten minutes of the second half, with Jeffreys scoring a carbon copy of his opening try.
Fly half Angus Brettell was next to score after a turover, then Smith notched try No 6 as Bassett lost their heads.
Full back Henry Venners bagged an excellent individual try with five minutes left, Smith converting.
The final play saw Smith score and convert his second try.
