Witney confirmed their status as MBBO Division 2 champions with a 6-3 win over struggling Reading side Phoenix and Ranelagh.
Ben Wells led the way with a hat-trick, while Tim Hardy (2) and Richard Demczak were also on target as Witney wrapped up the title in style.
City of Oxford’s promotion fate is no longer in their hands following a 3-1 home defeat by Slough 2nd in Divison 1.
Richard Harding scored for City, who are now five points off second drew 1-1 with Henley, which looks to have ended their chances of going up this year.
