The Oxon under 18s slid to a 6-3 defeat, with a succession of missed doubles, proving costly.

Scott Smith, George Bishop, and man-of-the-match Sam Lewis were the winners for the visitors.

But there was better news for the under 21 ladies who cruised to a 3-0 victory thanks to successes from Katie Moore, Charlotte Adams, and lady-of-the-match Natasha Meadows.

The under 21 men lost a tight match 3-2.

Their victories came from Dean Lockyer, who weighed in with a 20.97 average, and man-of-the-match Tom Baughan with a 25.47 average.
