Banbury Utd 4 (Learoyd 43, Stone pen 64, Martin 89, Benjamin 90)

Clevedon 3 (Hartland 4, Evans 6, Colbourne 15)

Substitute Declan Benjamin scored a last-minute winner as Banbury staged a sensational fightback to clinch victory in a Premier Division thriller at Spencer Stadium on Saturday.

Trailing 3-0 after 15 minutes, it looked all over for Billy Jeffrey’s men.

But a storming second-half comeback capped by a cracker from Benjamin saw Banbury complete the turnaround and make it four wins in a row.

Two minutes in, Marvin Martin put the ball in the Clevedon net, only for it to be ruled out for offside.

However, a mix-up between Ben Milner and keeper Mark Scott allowed Chris Hartland to give Clevedon the lead.

Clevedon doubled their lead when Adam Learoyd failed to head clear and Joey Evans slotted home, before Gary Colborne made it 3-0.

Learoyd then clawed one back when he headed in a Coleman corner.

After the break, David Stone’s penalty reduced the deficit after Nabil Shariff was brought down by Ollie Barnes.

A minute from time, Banbury were level when Martin cracked in a tremendous free-kick from 35 yards.

With time running out, Benjamin collected the ball wide on the left, ran along the edge of the penalty area before sending a right-footed shot around Wilmot and into the far corner for a brilliant winner.
