Wantage Tn 1 (Guy 52)
Bicester Tn 3 (McCoy 19, 26, Brooks 40)
Kyle McCoy bagged a brace as Bicester Town upset the odds to climb off the bottom of the Premier Division with a shock win at high-flying Wantage on Saturday.
The result saw Chris Hurley’s men leapfrog Oxfordshire rivals Hook Norton, though they are still 11 points from safety.
After an even opening, Bicester went ahead when Wantage keeper Rob Durrant’s clearance rebounded off Bicester’s Kyle McCoy straight into the goal.
The visitors kept up the pressure and were rewarded when McCoy doubled his tally when he drove past Durrant after Wantage failed to clear a corner.
It was all over for Wantage when Ryan Brooks was allowed to waltz through the Wantage defence before finishing with ease.
After the break, Wantage reduced the deficit through a well-taken strike through Richie Guy, but Bicester held on for victory.
Hook Norton 0
Malmesbury Vic 1 (Coles 34)
Hook Norton replaced Bicester at the bottom following a disappointing home defeat against their fellow strugglers.
In a poor game, Pete Moulder and James Robbins were guilty of missing the target when put through on goal.
And they paid the price when Kevin Coles scrambled the ball home at the far post after Hooky failed to clear.
Although Hooky bossed the second half, they failed to make it count, with the closest they came to levelling a shot from Ben Spiero well saved.
Kidlington 3 (Baker 58, Weedon 80, 83)
Fairford Tn 4 (Rockley 14, Magnani 60 pen, 90, Boucher 90)
Kidlington conceded two goals in injury-time as they crashed to defeat.
Ashley Rockley fired the visitors ahead, before Mark Baker levelled midway through the second half when he headed in Chris Weedon’s cross.
They went behind when Ben Willoughby brought down John Magnani who slotted home the resulting penalty.
Weedon then crashed home the equaliser, before he doubled his tally after Lee Clackworth saved Jack Quainton’s initial shot.
Magani brought the sides level when he fired past Tom McNamara, before Matt Boucher’s screamer sealed an unlikely win for Fairford.
Witney Utd 5 (Costello og 11, Cattell 13, Odhiambo 42, 64, Aldworth 82)
Ardley Utd 1 (Richmond 54)
Witney inflicted Ardley’s heaviest defeat of the season with a stunning home performance.
The hosts took the lead when Ardley’s Jason Costello headed Dean Smith's curling cross into his own net.
Two minutes later, Stuart Cattell doubled Witney’s account with a header.
Just before the break, it was 3-0 when Anaclet Odihambo brought down a long kick from keeper Paul Tassell before curling a stunning effort beyond Gareth Tucker and into the net.
After the break, Adam Richmond curling a wicked free-kick that caught Tassell out to reduce the deficit.
But a mistake by Tucker saw him spill a cross from Smith at the feet of Odihambo who tapped in from two yards out.
Five minutes from time, debutant Tom Aldworth headed home Witney’s fifth from another Smith cross to compound Ardley’s misery.
