Oxfordshire completed their National Under 20 Championship campaign with a 33-32 defeat to Dorset & Wilts.
The result left Oxon with one won and two defeats from their three matches in South West Region A, having earlier beaten Berkshire 28-0 and lost 20-13 to Buckinghamshire.
Coach Jamie Lakin felt it had been a successful campaign and has recommended five players for senior selection.
They are Nick Gardner (Oxford Harlequins), Will Clayton (Bicester), Alex Sawbridge (Oxford Brookes), Sean Cunningham (Oxford Brookes) and Ollie Rees (Oxford Harlequins).
Lakin said: “The big message I would love to get across is that county representation is a special honour.
“It is another level and is a good way to be seen, recognised and open other avenues within the players’ rugby careers.
“What I really want for next season is more numbers and more players willing to keep training.”
