Brize Norton boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation with a 4-2 victory over fellow strugglers Minster Lovell in the Witney & District FA Premier Division on Saturday.
Matt Townsend, Gerard Morgan and Richard Taylor, plus an own goal from Ed Dunn, gave Brize the points, while Minster replied through a Shaun Cross penalty and a goal from Ben Tew.
Minster’s cause was not helped by Neil Crozier’s red card.
At the other end of the table, a hat-trick from Joel King gave title-chasing Hailey a 3-0 win over third-placed Charlbury Town.
Second-placed Duckling-ton remain six points behind after a 2-1 win over West Witney.
Ian Peedle and Antony Lune scored their goals, with Jamie Goodwin replying.
Aston Leach and Craig Simpson helped Hanborough to a 2-0 success over Combe, while Matt Townsend scored the only goal as Spartan Rangers beat Witney Royals 1-0.
Wychwood Forest remain ten points clear at the top of Division 1 after a 1-0 victory over AC Finstock.
Nick Basson’s strike se-cured the points.
Chris Forde bagged a brace as Chipping Norton Town beat Witney Wanderers 7-3.
Warwick Tompkins, Rhys Warner-Carter, Rob Tyak and Matt Smith scored the others.
FC Chequers defeated Ducklington Res 2-0 with goals from Luke Simmons and Steve Foster.
Chad Park earned a 1-0 victory over Witney Royals Res to stretch their lead at the top of Division 2, Mark Sheffield scoring the goal.
At the other end of the table, Two Rivers and West Witney Res battled out a 2-2 draw.
Andy Frost and Jorge Granja scored for West Witney, with Bartek Lachwicz and Pavel Bronk replying.
John Ayres hit a hat-trick as Eynsham SSC shocked runaway leaders Carterton A with a 5-3 victory in Division 3.
Dan Clifford and Dan Bro-oks grabbed the other goals, with Chris Bowles, Dan Brearly and Bob Crockett replying for the shell-shocked visitors.
Hailey Res crushed Spartan Rangers A 10-0.
Joe Fullerton led the way with a treble, and there were also braces for Chris Gunter and Liam Day.
Adam Morrison, Les Quick and Connor Doyle completed the rout.
Brize Norton A moved off the bottom of Division 4, beating Eynsham SSC Res 2-1.
Liam O’Brien and Rob Brown scored their goals, with Adrian Williams replying.
